Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven is expected to be in contention to be available for the Arsenal game, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the 23-year-old’s workload was being managed by Spurs as they were being cautious over his return.
Van de Ven has been missing in action for the North London club due to a knee setback but it’s not understood to be a serious one.
Discussing the state of play with Richarlison exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“He injured the knee during a tussle in the Newcastle game and has been making progress since.
“Not exactly sure what the issue is but he was already close prior to the international break and the club were cautious with him – partly due to, as Ange referred, a heavy program following the break where Tottenham matches come thick and fast with multiple of them against top competition.

Spurs will be looking for a turn in fortunes and van de Ven’s return would undoubtedly increase their chances.
He hit the ground running last season and quickly became the Lilywhites’ linchpin in defence.
Hopefully, he can have a similar impact and silence the Arsenal attackers who have been on song this season.
