Neymar sends 'catastrophic' Kylian Mbappe warning to three Real Madrid players

Neymar has sent a Kylian Mbappe warning to three Real Madrid players, it has been alleged.

Neymar and Mbappe played some 136 times together at Paris Saint-Germain and combined to score on 54 occasions before the former moved to Al-Hilal and the latter secured a transfer to Real Madrid.

But according to journalist Cyril Hanouna, Neymar has contacted Real’s Brazilian contingent - Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and Eder Militao - warning them that playing with the France skipper was "catastrophic" at times.

On Europe 1, Hanouna said: “The Brazilians [at Real Madrid] are friends with Neymar. It has always been a war between Neymar and Mbappe. Neymar has sent a paper about Mbappe to the Brazilians, telling them that it was catastrophic, that it was hell."

In the past a spate of reports have claimed Mbappe and Neymar endured a frosty relationship at PSG, with Mbappe admitting in September 2022 that his relationship with the Brazil star was “hot and cold”.

Mbappe said: “We have always had a relationship based on respect, but we’ve always had hotter and colder moments.

“There are periods where, as you see, we are the best friends in the world and other periods where we speak less. It’s the nature of our relationship, but there is a lot of respect.

“I have a lot of respect for the player that he is, what he represents and the importance that he has in our team.

“When you have two players with strong personalities like that, life isn’t linear. It’s true that sometimes things happen but it’s always respectful and in the interest of PSG.”

Neymar continues to recover from a knee injury he suffered last year in his first few months at Al-Hilal.

Meanwhile, Mbappe is likely to feature for Madrid in the first encounter of their Champions League defence on Tuesday at home to Stuttgart.
