New Real Madrid player calls Vinicius after Ballon d’Or ceremony: You’re the best, I want to play with you.

Footballers, journalists, and everyone involved in the world of football wanted to support Vinicius after the events that took place at the Ballon d’Or ceremony.

Vinicius surprisingly lost the Ballon d’Or, which was awarded to Spanish player and Manchester City star Rodri, marking one of the strangest wins in the award’s history.

According to information from the Spanish newspaper Defensa Central, Alphonso Davies was among those who reached out to Vinicius, as the Bayern Munich left-back has a strong relationship with him.

The newspaper added that the Canadian player Davies sent a lot of encouragement, emphasizing that he considers Vinicius “the best” and looks forward to playing with him in Madrid starting next season.

Davies was not the only player to express his support; many of his teammates posted stories on social media and sent him private messages, expressing their surprise that he did not win the award.

A few hours later, Vinicius regained his composure and showed great enthusiasm, determined to prove wrong UEFA, France Football, and the journalists who voted against him.

He wants to clear his name, and although his start to the season has not been ideal, his current numbers are better than at the same time last season, giving him the opportunity to improve his performance and make new history at Real Madrid.

However, Vinicius knows that the priority is to enhance the team’s performance and fight for all the titles, even though the dream of winning the Ballon d’Or continues to haunt him, as it has been one of his childhood dreams.
