Real Madrid are now willing to let some of their attacking talents leave the club on loan with Arsenal interested in two players
Real Madrid are reportedly open to allowing some of their rising stars, including Brazilian forward Endrick and Turkish midfielder Arda Guler, to leave on loan during the January transfer window with Arsenal keeping a close watch on the duo. The potential availability of these talents has caught the attention of several clubs, including Arsenal, as the Gunners seek to strengthen their squad during a pivotal phase of the season.
Mikel Arteta’s side faces a critical period, competing in the Premier League, Champions League, and Carabao Cup, but their attacking depth has been severely impacted by injuries. Star winger Bukayo Saka is sidelined with a hamstring injury until late February, while Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus is out for the season after suffering an ACL injury during the FA Cup clash against Manchester United.
To bolster their options, Arsenal are exploring late moves in the transfer market, with Real Madrid’s loan-listed players emerging as intriguing targets.
Endrick, who turned 18 in the summer, joined Real Madrid after the club agreed on a deal with Palmeiras in 2022. The young forward officially arrived in Madrid this season, signing a six-year contract. Despite stiff competition from the likes of Kylian Mbappé, VinÃcius Júnior, and Rodrygo, Endrick has made an impression with four goals in 19 appearances.
His most notable contribution came in the Copa del Rey, where he netted twice in a 5-2 victory over Celta Vigo. Reflecting on his role, Endrick praised manager Carlo Ancelotti’s tactical decisions.
“Ancelotti knows what he’s doing,” said Endrick. “He doesn’t do what’s best for me, but for the team. If the team needs Kylian, Vini, or Rodrygo, they’ll be there. If it’s Arda Guler or me, we’ll be there.”
Endrick’s commitment to the team and his readiness to contribute have made him an appealing option for clubs seeking attacking reinforcements.
Arsenal have previously benefited from loan deals with Real Madrid, most notably with Dani Ceballos and Martin Ødegaard. While Ceballos’ stint yielded mixed results, Ødegaard’s impact was transformative, leading to a permanent transfer and his appointment as Arsenal captain.
With that history in mind, Arsenal are reportedly interested in both Endrick and Arda Guler. The young Turkish midfielder has struggled for game time at Madrid but remains highly rated. A loan move to the Emirates could provide him with valuable minutes while offering Arteta an additional creative option.
As the transfer window enters its final days, Arsenal are expected to intensify their pursuit of reinforcements. Discussions with Real Madrid over Endrick and Guler could be on the horizon, with the Gunners hopeful of securing at least one loan deal to address their squad’s injury-induced vulnerabilities.
