Jeremie Frimpong has €40m release clause, amid Liverpool interest – Fabrizio Romano

Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong as a potential replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has announced his departure from the club.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Frimpong’s release clause remains valid this summer, with a total package of €35-40 million.

Frimpong, under contract with Leverkusen until June 2028, joined the Bundesliga side from Celtic in 2023 for €11 million.
