BREAKING: Real Madrid and Benzema Set to Shock Everyone!

In his second season with Al Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, Karim Benzema is rumored to be returning to Real Madrid, but not to wear the iconic white jersey again. After spending 14 incredible years with the Los Blancos, Benzema decided to end his adventure with the club in the summer of 2023. The French striker then joined Al Ittihad, who had just won the Saudi Pro League.

However, this new challenge proved to be difficult for Benzema. Despite his astronomical salary, the Real Madrid legend struggled during his first season. He found it hard to carry the team from Jeddah and fell out of favor with his coach, Nuno Espirito Santos, who was eventually sacked due to poor results.

This season, things seem to be going better for Benzema. With the arrival of Laurent Blanc and some French recruits, KB9 has regained his confidence. He has already scored 13 goals and provided 3 assists in 12 matches this season. His goals have also helped Al Ittihad take the top spot in the league, ahead of Al Hilal and Al Nassr.

Benzema's Shocking Announcement

Despite finding his form again this season under Laurent Blanc, Karim Benzema is reportedly planning to retire at the end of the current season. According to Relevo, the 37-year-old French striker believes his time in football is over and that it's pointless to hold on. Benzema allegedly wants to end his career and return to Real Madrid in a different capacity.

"Karim Benzema is already considering retirement and will return to Real Madrid," Relevo headlined on Monday morning.
