TRANSFER NEWS: Real Madrid Pulls Off a Major Coup in Defense, Fabrizio Romano Reveals All!

Real Madrid is gearing up to make a significant impact in the winter transfer market. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Los Blancos are on the verge of signing a new defender. This move is part of the club's ambitious strategy to recruit young talents with immense potential.

Florentino Perez believes in this approach and has already enlisted several top players under the age of 25, including Vinicius Jr, Kylian Mbappe, Rodrygo, Jude Bellingham, Endrick, Arda Güler, Camavinga, and Tchouameni. The goal is to establish Real Madrid as a dominant force in European football for decades to come, with a team of players who have grown together and know each other perfectly.

This season, Real Madrid has faced significant challenges, particularly in defense. Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao have suffered ligament injuries and are unlikely to play again this season. Carlo Ancelotti is still waiting for the return of David Alaba, who has been injured since December 2023. This has limited the coach's defensive options.

However, Real Madrid is on the verge of completing its first winter signing. According to Relevo and confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, Florentino Perez is set to pay €100,000 to secure the services of Lamini Fati, an 18-year-old central defender currently playing for Leganés in La Liga.

Romano reveals that Fati will initially join the Fabrica under Alvaro Arbeloa and will be promoted to the first team based on his progress. This is the same strategy the club employed with Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo Goes when they joined from Brazil at the age of 18.

In the coming weeks, Fati will become a new face at Valdebebas, and Carlo Ancelotti will be able to keep a close eye on him.
